Applications are now being accepted for the 2026–2027 Finding Balance program!

Finding Balance

Finding Balance is a year-round, farm-based adult program at 3 Bluebirds Farm designed for adults with autism who have transitioned out of high school and are ready to continue growing in confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in adult life.

Unlike traditional day programs, Finding Balance provides a structured pathway for continued personal growth through real-world experiences, purposeful responsibilities, community engagement, and meaningful relationships. Participants strengthen communication, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, teamwork, responsibility, and workplace behaviors while contributing to the life of the farm and the broader community. Our small-group model allows participants to learn through experience, receive individualized coaching, and practice new skills in authentic settings where growth happens naturally. Throughout the year, participants may enroll in one or more complete sessions, earning Bluebird Badges and Milestone Certificates that recognize progress while opening doors to expanded responsibilities, internships, supported employment, and future leadership opportunities.

Finding Balance is built on a simple belief:

Adults with autism deserve opportunities not only to continue learning—but also to contribute, belong, and discover meaningful purpose.

Because learning doesn't stop at age 18.
